The Alzheimer’s Disease Sequencing Project (ADSP) Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) Consortium and Functional Genomics (FunGen) Consortium will meet with their external advisor groups and National Institute on Aging (NIA) program staff on August 27–28, 2026, in Rockville, Maryland.
Investigators from both consortia will showcase project advancement and highlight collaborations that leverage combined project resources to support synergistic progress. Advisors will provide feedback to the two consortia. This joint meeting will also offer opportunities for AI/ML and FunGen investigators to exchange ideas, discuss issues relevant to their work, and explore how emerging AI technologies could accelerate the journey from genetic association to actionable targets.
This meeting is open to ADSP AI/ML and FunGen grant Principal Investigators (PIs), Multiple PIs (MPIs), and members of their respective teams as well as NIA program staff. PIs/MPIs should plan to attend in person. Other team members, including trainees, are welcome to join in person or virtually. The meeting recording will be shared with the broader ADSP after the meeting.
Registration is required for anyone who plans to attend the meeting in person or virtually. Registration for in-person attendance will be open until August 6 or until the room capacity is met. If you plan to attend in person, register as soon as possible to secure your spot.
Please note that meeting attendees are responsible for reserving their hotel rooms and paying their own expenses related to meeting attendance, including hotel, local transportation, meal, and other travel costs.
